The Third Expert Meeting on the Legal Review of AWS was held in Geneva from 10-11 March 2025. The report on the workshop is here.

Building on previous expert meetings in Geneva and Sydney, this workshop aims to strengthen State practice in the legal review of new technology weapons, means, and methods of warfare through the voluntary exchange of national approaches.

The 2026 meeting will place a special focus on the legal review of AI-enabled Decision Support Systems (AI-DSS) and include an optional capacity-building day for States developing or refining their national legal review processes.
